Whether you’re a church youth group, looking to host a customer appreciation party, holiday event, or end of the year for your sports team, the Ice Factory is THE PLACE to go for the perfect group event! We boast a world-class guest service team that will help your group fit and tie their skates, and with free bucket skate aids, a live DJ with games and prizes, and even disco light shows (main rink events) – you won’t want to miss out on this amazing experience. Broomball
All the thrills of hockey, but in your shoes!
Studio Rink = 1 hour of play and includes a referee! Includes 18 players.
Main Rink = 1 hour of play and includes a referee! Includes up to 30 players.
Broomball offers the thrill of hockey, but in the comfort of your shoes! Perfect for corporate teambuilding events, church groups, group party, or birthday.
Played much like hockey, but in your regular shoes on ice. Slip and slide and get ball in the net, using “brooms”. The “brooms” are wood handled sticks with a rubber paddle on the end. A great way to tap into the inner child of any adult, and a blast for children.
Players need no equipment other than good tennis shoes (no sandals, flip flops, or slick bottomed shoes). Players should also dress warmly because it is an ice rink and is a bit chilly! Helmets are allowed but not required, and we have some to borrow if you don’t have your own.

Rent a Bobby Sled
For only $10, you can rent a Bobby sled. It can be used by kids or adults alike, for a unique and fun experience on the ice! Whether you are a beginner or just need a bit of help the Ice Factory has you. Safety is a top priority for us so we have everything that will allow you to have good safe fun.
Ice Spikes
Using our ice spikes, you can walk on the rink while your child skates. It’s a great way for parents who don’t want to wear skates and join for the on-ice experience with them! Same price as admission and skate rental. You’re also welcome to swap for rental skates at any time.
PUBLIC SKATING TIPS!
It’s an ice skating rink, so it’s cold all year!
Dress WARM. Our ice rink traditionally stays at a temperature between 35 and 60 degrees. Dress in layers – think long pants, long-sleeved shirts, gloves, and hats. Sweatshirts or jackets will help keep you warm. Wear 1 pair of tall, thin socks for the best experience.
Skate boots extend up and over your ankles, so be sure to wear 1 pair of long, thin socks that also extend above your ankles for better skating comfort. Short ankle socks or wearing multiple pairs of socks can create uncomfortable blisters.
For younger children and adults skating for the first time, we have helmets available. This is not required, but we highly recommend them.
Skates need to be tied VERY TIGHTLY using ALL of the hooks. Loose skates are virtually impossible to balance upon, and can cause blisters and difficulty skating, so tie those skates up! When you slide your foot in the skate, your heel should be touching the back of the skate and your toes should be brushing the front of the skate. If you need help, please ask one of our staff to help you. We want you to enjoy yourselves, and properly sized and tied skates are ESSENTIAL!
